EN 60950 is the Product Safety testing standard for “Information Technology Equipment” (known as ITE). There are different testing versions for different products.
Part 1. Standard and products matched
Safety Standard EN60950 applies to mains and battery powered information technology equipment, whose rated voltage does not exceed 600V, including electrical business machines and related equipment.

1. Input testing: the most common ones are power adapters and three other types of products.

5. Capacitor discharge testing.
6. Current limiting circuit (LCC).

11. Drop testing.
12. Stress relief testing.
13. Temperature rise testing.
14. Ball pressure testing.
15. Leakage current testing.
16. Dielectric strength (withstand voltage).
17. Abnormal testing.
